So my parents are gonna be in town...

...for a few hours before heading to Europe, along with my sister and and my aunt, and I want to take them to lunch somewhere at Lincoln Rd.

In total is gonna be 6 of us, so I was wondering if you guys had a recomendation for a place that wasn't too expensive, no preference for any type of food.

Nexxt, of course. If you want a little nicer and inside, go to Grillfish, which isn't on Lincoln, it's on Espanola next to Blue, but is still really good.

Pasha's is great if you like Mediterranean food, healthy and easy on the wallet. I also like Balans when we went there not too long ago.

Don't bother with Nexxt.

Yea, you get a nice amount of food for a decent price. Sure, its biting off of Cheesecake Factory. But ya know what, its not that great. I'd rather go to Cheesecake Factory where the overall quality is better. Go somewhere else. The last two times I ate there, I wondered why the hell I bothered. Add to that it takes forever to get your food! At least the last two times it did...

Anyway, if you like sushi, go to Sushi Siam... or any other recommendation you get in this thread.

Nexxt is a big PASS for me.

I like Nexxt. Great spot to just watch people go by, like Segafredo. For a tourist place the food is a lot better than it has to be. Better than Cafeteria IMHO. If you're taking your parents out today then Nexxt might not be a good idea because there are some little isolated clouds blowing over today that look pretty wet to me. Nexxt is less fun when it's raining.

When it's raining or might rain a lot of times I go to Miss Yip on Lincoln & Meridian, go north on Meridian past Starbuck's like half a block. Big clean indoor dining room and good Chinese food with lunch specials.

The thing is, all the rest of the places are worse. Unless you want to pony up a bunch of cash. Even then you are hit and miss.

Theres that Italian place on Espanola that is really good. If you are walking from Washington onto espanola its on your right hand side a few stores in, i dont remember the name though.
