Not on the club property per se, but on the beach itself. This board wasn't up yet so I can't reference any relevant discussions from that era. They were on that stretch of beach, walking away, then they were snatched right around South Pointe, if I remember.

I remember at the time, the whole controversy was on if the area was safe anymore. A few people I knew at Nikki at the time were concerned.

I absolutely remember this case...I was pretty shaken up when it happened, scared the shit out of me b/c of where it happened and the brutality of the crime.

there is no punishment harsh enough for this crime...that poor young woman, what a horrible way to die and what savage last hours she had to endure - and her boyfriend, he's got to be scarred for life.

anyone know if the other monsters already went on trial or what's going on with that? - they make absolutely no mention of this in the article.

I remember it because I moved here about a week after it happened. Justice certainly wasn't swift here.
