My buddy was charged with basically 3rd party communication. He was ordered not to talk to his ex, long story short, he got 2.5 years in jail for this bs, he made a threat to her thru a 3rd party, and some lady shoots her husband in the back while he's sleeping gets 270 days..

In Vermont a child molester got 30 days? Another one got no jail because he was "too small for jail" and Paris gets 45 days for DUI...

Oh the kid in Georgia gets like 10 years for getting blown by a 15 year old while he was 17 and the other guy in Texas got life for a joint.

In NJ, the 3 guys trying to kill soldiers at fort dix had 70 arrests between them. The guy in Virginia beach had been arrested before then killed 2 kids in a dui..

EXPLAIN THIS TO ME!!!!!!!

i think you mean decent? ^^

i don't know but the case of Saleens friend sounds totally strange --it just doesn't sound right to get 2.5 yrs in jail for what he did.

Yes, he violated the order twice, served 42 days the 1st time, this time they hit him with all types of bs and got 2.5 years.

Nothing said over the phone warrants 2.5 years in jail..

Your buddy threatened a woman enough for a judge to order him not to contact her. Then he threatened her some more after that. Then he got caught and got sentenced to a jail term. Then after he got out he threatened her some more. Then he got caught again and sentenced to a longer jail term. I don't see the problem?

Comparing 2.5 years to 270 days is comparing sentenced time to served time. Apples to oranges.

Your friend should have a psychologist tell the sheriff he's about to have a mental breakdown.

My friend is a former Seal, saw lots of combat in Panama Africa and Desert Storm. He's an idiot, but doesn't deserve 2.5 years in jail.

Time served for the murder is under 2.5 years, that lady killed someone, my buddy shot his mouth off a few times. He's in custody battle with the Ex, they have 1 kid together.

The fact that he's a trained killer makes his threats less credible, not more?

the entire explanation paints a clearer picture now

your friend should have gone to get help before the shit hit the fan, and though the fact that he was a Seal may have contributed to his mental problems, more the reason to get help ...sorry, being at war is NOT an excuse for what he did --and seems like he was warned not once but a couple of times...should've listened.
