making the headlines for sleazy stuff.

http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/us/A...yt&emc=rss

i mean all the dirty stuff goes on with these right wingers who say family and god is great and all us liberal folk are the hedonistic, pleasure seeking peeps that are a problem. i.e Mark Foley and this new guy as far as a multitude of other conservatives who seem to get caught in the act.

I expect a a plausible yet pragmatic debate from the slammer (u bastard lol,) as well as from any and all of the elephant crew. Thing is at least we admit that we think social sleaze activities shouldn't matter in politics.

hypocritical or what...

Both sides engage in sleazy behavior. The neo-cons try to hide it, and the liberals try to justify it.

My side simply says "so what, go fetch me a beer".

I'm hardly apart of any elephant crew, but the Mark Foley thing happened, and Republicans threw him on his ass. But a Democrat congressman gets convicted on child porn charges, and Bill Clinton grants him a full pardon......no outrage! Explain that one to me....

With this guy, this happened years ago and he already worked this out privately with his wife....that should be the end of it. His wife was out there telling the media to fuck off, it's a private matter, etc...good for her.

I've been looking for a new friend to hit up the Hotel Del Rey with me to teach the locals some family values....maybe I should shoot him an email.

glad to see you in your punctual form ;D

but i think you're missing my point, Clinton's pardon? ffs he gets blown in the oval office, cigars in the orifice et al. We know where his head is, and sorry not to be cliche off the bumper sticker i've seen all over. "When Clinton lied, nobody died"

so we don't care about the bullshit. let's balance the budget, bang hookers and all be fine.

i expect a good rebuttal

Dude, did you even read what I typed? I didn't say anything about his blow-job, I never cared about that. Here, let's try this again. I have a major problem with a president who pardons congressmen who get caught with child porn! Where was the outrage over that?

It was an abuse of power for President Bush to intervene with a sentence commutation to protect a political operative who was caught and convicted for blowing a CIA agent's cover during a political tactic. An abuse of power for political gain goes beyond being simply morally questionable.

The "powers that be" don't really care what side you choose....as long as you pick one. That way they can play each party off of the other. I find it riveting how you guys are damn near ready to kill each other just because of differing ideological perspectives. It's f*cking ridiculous. No offense to anyone personally. I realize that lots of people are really passionate about their politics. Also, you so-called Republicans voted, into office, twice, a motherf*cker I wouldnt let fold my laundry. But listening to you all talk, talk, talk....you certainly have a way of sounding like the most erudite beings on the planet.

Let's see who throws the first bomb at Buck.

I just find it sad that we're stuck in a 2 party system.
