Yes. Yahoo will autodraft our league and select the draft order at Random.

You can set your draft order by logging onto your teams page and selecting the 'draft central' link.

There you can select the order of your draft for as many players as you want.

Yahoo will also autodraft based on the Yahoo players rankings which are the same as ESPN etc...

You can also exclude players from your draft like Michael Vick... LOL

Once I set the leagues draft status to ready, yahoo will conduct the draft 48 hours later.

The draft is set to happen between week 3 and 4 of the pre-season..

I will set the leagues draft status to 'READY' after the 3rd week of the pre-season. The draft will take place between 24-48 hours after the league's status is set to ready.

Please get your teams pre-draft rankings in order prior to this so that Yahoo can initiate our autodraft.

Fantasy Football. My friend talked me into finally doing this, and my main complaint with getting involved with fantasy football, was the lack of time I have for it. He talked me into it though, and what happens...I have plans tonight to do something and it doesn't involve the fantasy draft...LOL

Now I am thinking this is pretty important for the fantasy football? How will missing the draft affect my team or ability to still play?

You shouldn’t have let him talk you into it if you don’t have the time. If you miss the draft you will get screwed. During the season you have to still manage your team which if done properly takes time. You have to set your roster every week, you have to stay on top of possible free agents, you have to stay on top of injuries reports, you have to have to pay attention to which teams are on a bye that week…etc. Last year in one of my leagues we had someone that didn’t have the time to play but signed up anyway and he never set his roster which took away from the league big time. If you’re not into it don’t play but if you are it can be very fun and addicting.
