This is a documentary about origins of religion, the 9/11 conspiracy, and the corruption and supposed future plans concerning the US govt.

This movie is 2 hrs. long. I suggest you guys watch it so you can get an idea on what some of the views are about all the stuff that's going on right now in US/World politics in case you havent been paying attention. Also, if you agree with these ideas in this movie, it would be good to spread the word about it.

thats an interesting forum. thanx for linking me. now in the thread posted above, the writer is critiqueing the religion part, which isnt really that important in my opinion. the important stuff comes afterwards.

its very similar to what is said in the documentary in regards to the idea of the group of ppl that want to have power over everyone and will create something that will make the masses want a world govt.

i dont put stock into what anything that both sides are saying. truth is, any movement, whether it be pro christ, or anti christian, will site resources that support the conclusions they want to hear. zeitgeist maybe poorly researched, but the bible is a laughable record of history also. it is so steeped in allegories, symbolism, contradiction, and superstition it is almost comical. and the dicthotemy between the first testament 'god' and the second testament 'god' is implausibly striking.

each side will try to 'debunk' the other side, its a non stop tug of war. my best adivce is just try to do your studying and draw your own conclusions, my believe thos is that anyone who believes in a literal interpretation of the bible is a fool.

I'm with you Mattivi. I would argue that Zeitgeist is just as much a religious belief as God would be. Neither side can prove against or in favor of. None of you can prove to me that JFK isn't alive and being sustained by the power of the Holy Grail, so it must be true, right? There's no way to prove this movie is horse crap, but that's the most likely conclusion.

If the "religious part isn't that important" to the movie, then why include it? You can't cherry pick what portions of the movie you want to believe, and ignore the whole premise for how they came up with those conclusions.

In today's cynical world, anything anti-government is popular. The wilder the theory, the more apt people will want to believe it, so I'm not surprised people believe this movie. Mattivi is right about the Bible. You cannot take it for face value, in fact, the authors never intended it to be that way....no, the Earth wasn't created in 7 calendar days, there was no burning bush, the entire Earth did not flood while Noah had every species on board his ark, etc, etc. If you understand history and theology enough, you'll understand that when making a point, often stories were exaggerated for effect...that was just a common literary style in the old testament days.

i watched the whole movie. even tho i believe most of it to be inflammatory crap, they raise some interesting points, if indeed they are true.

from an engineering standpoint it is troubling that two steel framed towers pretty much burned to the ground with in the course of an afternoon. the WTC7 did infact look like a old Vegas casino style controlled demolition when in fact nothing actually hit the building. i am also left wondering why the black boxes were never recovered, and why a lot of the forensic evidence was hauled away and sold for scrap. again i cant verify the veracity of what the documentarers are claiming, but if that is indeed the case it seems a bit strange.

all in all i dont put much stock in the underlying pretext of the film being that the govt hatched some nefarious plot in order to acheive some long term global objective. yes there are some holes in the story, but im sure if they are holding anything back its in the best interest of the general public. who knows for sure, i could be wrong.
