I had it running on a 450mhz cube with 768mb RAM. I didn't notice any slow downs with Safari or iTunes... compared to Tiger. I pretty much have that system for guests.

Does the system itself feel snappier. Are there significant benefits to me upgrading or should i just hold off till I get new hardware?

This presents quite the conundrum for Barbarino. At the same time Leopard is coming out, it appears that the Mac Mini will be discontinued.
