Also, who besides me sees this as just a set up for the Pres to just say that since Congress isn't doing its job that he should take over and make all the decisions himself? One step closer to dictatorship.

LOL, c'mon...are you serious? I hate many of the laws that take away my civil liberties, but we are nowhere near a "dictatorship". I know it sounds edgy and trendy to say things like that, but geez....

Besides, Nancy Pelosi doesn't need Bush pointing the finger at her....her OWN PARTY is distancing themselves from her. They're asking, "what happened to all the change you promised us?" As if they ever really intended to change things....

In my opinion, the ONLY guy who might actually deliver change is Obama, as much as I oppose his views. Everyone else will be a status quo president....especially Hillary.

I'm not really serious that this is the next thing that will happen but other nations have been taken over with less. Its not an IMpossibility. The key is to make sure that someone else is put in place where this isn't even the trend.

all i know is i wish i could earn a 20% approval rating, give myself a $3,500 raise while working 4 days a week.

I agree, as bad as Bush's ratings are Congress is even worse. I have to say I was defnitely expecting more.

Does it help at all that anything the Democrats try to push through seems to constantly get vetoed? I don't know, but it seems they are both acting a bit like lame ducks.
