Good use for google docs

I've been using google spreadsheets to keep a list of the model number and serial number of all the equipment I own. The data is saved on google's servers which is great. In case of fire or theft then the data is not residing on my stolen or destroyed computer. This could come in real handy in case of any emergencies.
