Default Sound off: Patriots running it up?

there were whispers of it a few weeks ago and again after the Fins game, but after watching Washington get embarrassed 52-7 by them i am in agreement. that prick Bellechick ran it up.

being that my beloved Dolphins have basically been garbage in this millenium it has not bothered me to see the Pats win, being that they represent the AFC and AFC dominance. i also like that they proved that dynasties can exist in today's NFL.

that being said, enough is enough. first the spying, and now this. they went for it on 4th. they ran trick plays. they kept the starters in up by 5 touchdowns late in the game. the Redskins admitted that they basically gave up by that point.

i like Brady, nothing against him at all but i hope someone ends his season just so that Bellechick gets his. against the Rams in 2001 they were the underdog going up against the arrogant favorite. they have become the arrogant ones.

GO COLTS

I don't really have an issue with it...its like oldschool street ball or sandlot ball, but they better know what comes along with that type of game...someone is seriously gonna open a can of whoop ass on Brady from the blindside and waaaay late. What was the dude back in the 80's that was putting players numbers on his sweat towel after he would level them on late hits? He got Walter and Mcmahon from the bears...

It is called football not "make-nice-so-that-the -other-team-feels -good" . Lord help me, but I think it was sean that said something about rewarding underachievers and underperformers ... if these guys do not play at their optimal week in adn week out, then perhaps a new career choice is in order... I'm a diehard Bears fan since before the fabled 1985 season and when they get their asses handed to them, I cahlk it up to the fact that the other team brought their "A" game and just happened to be the better team on that day. The fact that the skins gave up is a reflection on them as an organization NOT on Bellichek and the Pats. Perhaps they should stick to something less grueling and demanding like...double dutch.

I say no, as much as I hate Da Patriots, the Redskins just imploded. They had been playing like they, the Redskins were pretty good, but reverted back to their old ways. The Pat's could have set their starters sooner though. Having Brady and others stay in even though it was 38 - 0 going into the 4th, and the Redskins not showing anything all day, just makes them dickheads

In the history of the Super Bowl there have only been 4 Super Bowls decided by 3 points, the Patriots own 3 of those, as the winner. They have been using their cheating way for a decade, I hope they lose.

Dude whatever JMT..

I hate the Patriots but they are by far the most dominant team in the NFL this year.

I don't think there is a team that can beat them. Not even the Colts...

what peace said. i'm a big skins fan (live in dc) and had nothing wrong with what happened. the skins are just terrible to watch. no execution whatsoever on offense, and their defense is riddled with injuries. plus the fact that they gave up just shows why they can't play together as a team eventhough they are ridiculous on paper. cambell is good, but his supporting cast needs to get it together. it was awesome watching the patrios play vs the skins. the patrios are amazing to watch-pefect execution every game, and watching brady just pick apart secondaries as if he were playing in pee wee league is incredible. did they cheat? who knows, but they are just showing everyone that they can win regardless. haters will always hate. always easier to knock the guy on top. i hope they absolutely dismantle every team they play this year especially the colts...twice. as tom clayton said "hide the kids"

how good they are has nothing to do with the question of running up the score.

No they are not.

they are proffesionals. they are not beating the other teams by enough. dont wanna get blown out? stop them.

New England has balls cuz that pisses people off and they wanna beat them BADLY. they are like the Hurricanes of the 80's

running up the score in the NFL is a non subject. they get paid millions. all of them.

I would feel different if it was college and a powerhouse like Ohio State was beating up and shoving it in the face of a team like Missouri State tech.

play on.
