My My My..Gene King with the goregous voice of Sasha has done it again.This is just fabulous.One of the most requested songs at the club here.Absolulty marvelous.All 4 mixes are just out of this world.The R&B mix is hot,not really a R&B(Downtempo) but on a more soul-ful tip,while the Shelter Gentix Dub does even more damage for your dancefloor..Bravo! 7 of 10

Detroit Massive Stand Up!! OoooOops,these guys are actually from Amsterdam.These tracks by Jordash n Juju has to be thier best work yet.If you love Moodyman,Theo Parish or that deep deep Detroit sound Larry Heard style,then these are for you.Very eclectic,hypnotic and pure soul grabbin.

The Main Mix---I cant get tired of rocking this Main Mix.Fantastic job by Lou Gorbea & Chris Perez on the production tip.
The Euro Dub--More on the "techy" side,this mix is still effective if played at the correct moment n time.
D’s Dub-- A wonderful Dub mix to compliment all the other mixes.I recommend this whole package.
The Classic Mix--This Mix is nice too..What else can I say about this hot track?
The Sunday Morning Mix-- I love this mix as well,the crowd really get into the music and talents of the entire Temple Dynasty Band.

Mash-Up Pick:
"Jesus Creates Sound"(Mark Mendoza Mash-Up) Original on Strickly Rhythem by Marlond D.This track gets my crowd "jumping" no matter how many times I play it in one night,which is like 2 to 3x..I would like to hear an extended version of this.Fantastic job by Mark Mendoza. 7 of 10

Dj Quad feat.Trizonna McClendon
Trizonna out of Chicago teams up with Dj Quad and come up with 2 hot releases,one being my favorite "Sunshine & Lemonde".This catchy track layed over Trizonna's lovely vocals creat a nice mellow vibe that anyone can enjoy.This track has a touch of R&B flavor but with added arrangements that create a dancing environment for everyone to enjoy.The dancefloor response is marvelous.Watching people sing-a-long to this time-less track is what our music should represent. 7-10

The second track entitled "Trizonna" is more on the Brazillian tip and still as effective but not as hot as the first track mentioned above.In any case,this track still delivers those smooth vocals and hot Brazillian music that is right on time for this years WMC (Winter Music Conferance).Im looking forward to more of Dj Quad and Trizonna McClendon in the near future.

Consortium Muzik continues thier quest to find artist and producers that represent that percentage of underated performers.In this case they nailed it with the fabulous vocals by Miss Yvonne.

Complete with 3 different mixes by hot producers Alan Smithee,Andy Tamashi and Abiach Soul(Staxx).This track does not dissapoint on any level.The Alam Smithee Mix is very nice,really concentrating on vocals and arrangements that do not over take the lovley vocals of Miss Yvonne. 7 of 10

Andy Tamashi's mix is a bit more on the darker side of things but still hot it's own right.Fantastic mix to throw down when it's that time of night to dim down the lights and let the dancers close thier eyes and listen to the vocals. 7 of 10 (Favorie Mix)

Abicah Soul Mix has a more stripped down bare sound with a nice organ,deep keys,and violins make a nice combo for this vocal. 6 of 10

Smooth Agent Records comes out with this hot 5 track E.P straight from the valut of deepness.This is one smoking E.P to own.

1)"Every step of the Way feat.Karu" is one heck of a track.Deep chords,organs and lovely piano-riffs fill the room with fresh musical air.Play this track and watch your dancefloor marvel at the effects and sounds.Wonderful job. 7 of 10

2)"Sitting There" A very deep thriving track,filled with deep organs,a vocalist with minimal whispers and catchy hot beats make this one for the dancefloor. 7 of 10

3)"Head Beats" This has to be my favorite track of the entire E.P,not to take away from the other fabulous tracks.This one has a smokin tribal house beat with a spoken-word by Dr.King.Gotta have this track people. 7 of 10

4)"Head Beats"(no vox)--is the same as above w/out the vox.Hot! 7 of 10

5)"Test of Time" Put your hands in the air for yet another jackin track.This time complete with mezmorizing bass-line,organ riffs and spoken-word,this is another favorite of mine out of this fantastic E.P.Smooth Agent Records is back! 7 of 10


T-Solomon taken from "Ah Star is Being Born" L.P

"Ride the Bass"(Vocal Mix) is a very spiritual re-mix from this great artist and producer T-Solomon.Those that are familier with his past work know this talented individual has something special to offer for your soul.This track is no exception.I dislike comparing artist but T-Solomon reminds me of the great Roy Ayers.This track has a nice Cha-Cha fast beat but without loosing the deepness and spritiual message embedded within the music.Lovely piano and latin vibe is just fantastic. 8 of 10

"Do you even Know"(Rachel Claudio & Nicolas Vautier)/The Jaffa Rmxs including rmxs by Raw Artistic Soul & Soul Harmonics.

Jaffa Music's 4th release and does not dissapoint with this re-visited track.It's been about A year after the original release of "Do You Even Know" on Place Blanche records,so to re release this gem with rmxs by Jaffa Music,Raw Artistic Soul & Soul Harmonics,give this lovely track a hot welcome back treatment.

The Soul Harmonics Mix is a nice clubby disco sounding complete with vocals. 6 of 10

Raw Artistic Soul Mix--This is much more darker and sultry.The vocals really stand out on this minimal sounding hot mix.Rachel Claudio really sounds lovley on this particular mix by Raw Artistic Soul.Favorite Mix 7 of 10

This track also comes with an nice Jaffa Music vocal mix and Raw Artistic Dub Mix..Nice re-work..

Avi Elman of Upz steps out the box and into the world of "Con Funk E.P" on soWhat Records.

This fantastic disco inspired is E.P is right up there with the hot releases already posted."Motor Booty" & "Slap n Ride" are 2 of the most disco-sounding tracks I've heard in quite sometime of course with a few exceptions(Other tracks and labels).
"Motor Booty" is more on the modern side of music but still delivers that "punch" needed to make that dancefloor fire up! That guiter riff is off the hook. 7 of 10
"Slap n Ride" This is more on that disco inspiriation we all long for from time to time.Very jazzy disco indeed. 7 of 10

Here we have what I call that true DEEP side of housemusic.Dark but beutiful at the same time.Armed with 4 mixes to choose from,Im sure there is a track for those late-night hours.The combo-producer action works for this team.Jesus Gonsev(More on the deep side of things) while Javi Lopez(keeps it more on the dancefloor flavor),both combined you can't go wrong.It's all about tracks selection!! Bravo! for Sofitone Records.

1)"Everything is Illuminated"-- Keep it dark and keep it deep.Exceptional music display of how it's done,nuff said! Fav Mix 7 of 10

2)Soul Beat(Jesus Gonsev Deepsoul Rmx)---My goodness what a hot opening to a track with a silent,quiet,deep electronic note.All of sudden a deepness overflows the rhythm with a soft spoken-word sayin "Feel it"...Favorite Mix 8 of 10

3)Soul Beat(Javi Lopez)--This version brings a more percussion-pumpin beat with more spoken-word pieces and can be played at any time during you set.Still deep but more for the dancefloor.I get chills from the enitre E.P. 7 of 10

4)Shake it(Javi Lopez)--Another hot dancefloor joint to make you stomp your feet without taking away the deepness..this is hot! 7 of 10

Here comes that underated producer segment again,let's begin with Dj Koeul Benny out of San Fransisco,brings us these 2 Chicago sounding heaters named "The Underground" & "Im Good"/2nd Mix.From time to time I seem to get blessed with these tracks made by unknown or underated producers.
It's nice to see other musicians outside the norm.This kat got it down pack with 2 hot Chicago Jack tracks that will shake your dancefloor."The Undergound" has a nice synth layed over a jackin beat that is effective."Im Good" is even more powerful in it's delivery of heavy synths,bass-line and infectious beat.I will give this man his props. 7 of 10 on both tracks!

Here is another nice joint.Vitualsound brings us a re-mix of the time-less classic "True Housemusic"(Marcel).This time this is more on the peak-time progressive/Dance Music tip.No mistaken that voice of Marcel.So put yo hands in the air!! 6 of 10.

This man has been on a serious mission since I've met him.Just when you think he steps down for a second,he pops up right at you.Here comes "At Ease,Child Please".Now I've seen producers go down,but this man pumps out this hot track that has my dancefloor in a frenzy when I drop this cut.Nothing short of marvelous.3 mixes to choose from,there is one for you.

"At Ease,Child Please"(House Mix)-- Nice percussions and bass-line and using humourous spoken-word about somethin serious makes this track even more fun to listen and dance... 7 of 10

Mantree Mix--This version is more on the harder beat tip.Still rocks the house with that hot bass-line. 7 of 10

Percussion Mix--For all you percussion lovers out there(oooops,thats me),this is the cut.Play it,run it,flip it..let your crowd feel it!! 7 of 10 on all mixes.

Eddie Nicholes(Dek Publishing)/Test

"U can do anything" is one lovely track,sung by Eddie of DeK Music.Another kat that Ive been following lately.His work ethic shows in this cut.

I'm speechless about this rmx by my good friend from Tampa,Florida Mr.Cubanix.This Rmx only took me "ONE" listen to know that it's a hit.I know some doubters out there about making re-mixes but I must make an exception about this track..yea "Tell be all about it" is back with a vengence,with a new hot beat and infectious keyboard work by Mr.Cubanix..ya can't loose!!

"Tranquility" is just that..peaceful and sultry,this is E.P is hot to play either on the dancefloor or play it while on chillout mode with the one you love.A glass of fine wine comes to mind. 7 of 10 on all mixes.



Tim Scott "That's Nice E.P" / Blue City Records


Tim Scott has been in producing some nice jazzy-house tracks as well.Here he brings us "Habari" which starts off with a hot percussion and jazz-influence(Sounds like Manu Dibango) "New Bell"...in mind.Very nice drums added to make this an offical jazz track and the dancers will love it!!! 7 of 10


This track also comes with mixes by Richie Robinson.This version has a more club feel to it but with the same results.Jazzy-House in full effect! Very nice. 7 of 10

Last on this Blue City release is "That's Nicce"(Richie Robinson Mix).This cut is definately made for the dancefloor.Nice synths and electronic sound and minimal spoken-word included this track doesnt fall short.Those percussions (Timbales) rock on this joint.Nice work. 7 of 10

K-Joy feat.Raiyn & "Like This"(Deep House Mix #2)


K-joy been sending me some very nice tracks lately.This one is with no exception.Titled "I am a Woman",this song has not only a wonderful female vocalist but great music to compliment all arrangements.This nice track comes with a vocal single mix,and instrumental to extend this already excellent track 7 of 10


"Like this" is a re-make of the Chicago classic on Dj International by Chip E. Im not disliking this version but it could never top the original.All n all,this track is what it is..a nice and different version(view) with deep organ riffs and the vocalist Raiyn sound better than the original.This nice re-make comes also with a instrumental mix(Which I prefer vs. the vocal mix),even the classic I prefer the instrumental..In any case I like this track..so I give it a 6 of 10


More on K-Joy "Butterflyz" & "Like This"


This nice number here with a female spoken-word is not bad at all.I like the words and the music is more on the Chicago Deep side.Nice bass-line too.Track also comes with a hot instrumental. 7 of 10


"Like This"(ATL Club Mix/The Unsual Experience) I like this version better than the Deep House Mix #2 K-Joy for me.Even the vocals are hotter than the original.TRUST! Nice rhythem goin on this mix. 7 of 10


"Like This"(I wanna see Freak NWK,NJ Mix)--Whooooooooo! talk about doing somthing different.This joint has some of the origianl samples in it.Is a matter of fact,I wonder now if this is the original singer...lol This mix is hot! More on techo-Chicago Jack side. 7 of 10 (Favorite Mix)


"Like This"(Original 1985 Mix)--Nice to hear the original again.I need to grab my old joint out and play this again.Jack yo body baby!!! 7 for 10

What a wonderful track,with a message of love,hope and new life.The Original Vocal is one of my favorite mix,while the Steve Stone Mix takes your right to the dancefloor with deep guitars,thompin beats and added vocals by Antonio. 7 of 10 for the Original and Steve Stone Mix.

The Racheal Claudio & Nicholas Vautier RMX is more on the deep tech side but still delivers a different interpretation of this already hot track. 6 of 10

"Full of Smoke"--a hot hot re-mix..nuff said on this cut.Unreleased
His new offering "En La Casa"(Rasmir feat.Jose Casado) is pure fire to play anywhere at anytime.This latin inspired spoken-word by Jose Casado will have your latinos and non-latinos on the dancefloor thru the entire track.With 4 different cuts to choose from.

I can't find one that I like more than the other.The percussions and spoken-word does it for me.Very nice effects and piano-riffs while my boi is sayin "Come with me to my house" and more to be translated when I run it..LOL 7 of 8 on all cuts.

House Mix--peak-hr people..get your dancing shoes on "En La Casa"

Freestyle Mix--Pure percussion fire with this version.Piano really takes over this cut.

This man has really been making an impact on the music scene as of late,remixing some of the best tracks by known artist and unknown.His original production work is now taking shape with his mix of "So Addictive"(Tony Loreto SS Rmx) coming soon to Cyberjamz Records.Many compare this producer to Q.H. because of the sound.IMO Q.H & Tony Loreto do not sound the same,although I'd be flatterd to be in the same company of such a fantastic producer such as Q.H.
Let's move on to other Tony Loreto Re-Mixes.Looking forward to a colaboration between Tony Loreto and Q.H..I can just imagine the possiblilities!!

"Prayer"(Leela James/Tony Loreto SS Rmx)--Here we go again with the deepness,this time with the lovely,sultry and sexy vocal of Leela James.This guy is going to get far very soon if not already there!! 7 of 10

"Finish"(Mark Di Meo & Tony Loreto)-- Tony teams up with Mark Di Meo in what I call a nice display of organ and keys demonstration for any dancefloor.With additional hot beats,guitar riffs,and heavenly violins complete this wonderful track. 7 of 10

"Take me as I am"(MJB/Tony Loreto SS Rmx)--Wow..this is yet another hot remix.Just glorious..the grooves,keys and vocals all come together nicely,MJB sound quite hot in this remix.The dancefloor was on fire when I dropped this. 8 of 10

"Crazy"(Seal/Tony Loreto Organ Rmx)--A 10 min musical journey with one of my favorite male vocalist "Seal"..The main focus on this track is that hot organ through the track with snippits of "Crazy" over it..nice work. 7 of 10

Here we have Cyberjamz Radio's own Jose Gonzales (Fresh Sol) starting out his new label with some hot music.Amoung my favorites are:"The Arrival" & "Zulu" but it doesn't stop there,he continues with the hot offering "Drumzation" with some funky house beats,percussions and deep Wah Wah sounds.Minimal but not bad for a debut. 7 of 10 on all mixes.

"The Arrival"--This has a deep pumpin beats,layed over some hot synths.

7)Sao Salvador(Mustafa/UPZ SoWhat Mix)--Ahhhhhhh,nice keys on this version,with added female vocals(I dont understand the Language) but in any case or language this is certainly a nice number.Added flutes make this a nice composition.

8)Rok da Funk(UPZ ft.Rasu/DKP UPZ Phunky Mix)--Im glad they finally put this out.Been rok-ing this phunky tune for a minute.Another one that stands-out in the compilation.Half spoken word and Rap make this joint HOT HOT HOT!!

9)U Lift Me(UPZ ft. Ben Khesed)-Oh yeah! yeah! Vocals is my thing,especially when it comes to the lyrics that make sense.REAL TALK right here..you go boi! Tell that woman what's the deal..LOL*The Vocalist is hot on this track* Hmmmmmmm. Favorite written over it..

10)Slap n Ride(UPZ pres:Avi Elman)--Hot disco-style with samples "Hey Bobby,why do you like soul food"?....Nice.

11)Ti-Moune--Classic sounding track with wonderful keys,perussions, and hot spoken-word "ZION"!!! Heat.
