"ann landers" was a pseudonym. remember when you started that thread about how djs should use their real names? years ago, when i first started spinning records, there was this cheesy radio dj in central florida called "john landers," which of course wasn't his real name. in fact, back in the eighties, there was even a billboard with "john landers - back in the morning" on i-75 (i passed it countless times going to and from gainesville). anyway, he's still a dj (of sorts), so i expect that i'll be hearing from his attorney any day now for trademark infringement, or something.
