It’s also a great place to buy crack, say Chicago-area junkies. “Wow, just think, the entire drug supply of Chicago brought together under one roof,” said Eli “Poppy” McCay, local crack smoker. “Look, there’s Joe Joe, Lil’ D, Alamoe, my man G-Kronic—the whole gang’s here. All I gots to do is ask one of them guys at half-time for a couple of rocks. The cops don’t notice, they just think I’m here for the game. The Mayor is right. This is a great place for inner city kids to come and hang out.”

| USA Hoops Team No Longer Allowed To Talk On Cell Phones During Games ATHENS, GREECE--In a move designed to re-focus the struggling USA Olympic basketball team, Coach Larry Brown has banned all players from talking on cell phones during games. The new rule applies to players sitting on the bench as well as players on the court. Brown’s latest motivational strategy comes on the heels of an embarrassing 19-point loss to lowly Puerto Rico, after which the coach called the team “unfocused and uninterested.”
