I was just compelled to post this pic... the pic is from the Apple Expo in Paris. Showcasing a Powermac G5 dual 2.5GHz and dual 30 inch displays. Why can't Oprah give me one of these? ;D

Wow man. My next workstation!

I love how you can just stick the monitors right next to the monitors when you're using LCD flat panels. Those speakers I mean. I have always had trouble placing powerful speakers next to CRT monitors because the magnets start to make green spots on the CRTs. With these new Apple cinema displays you can stick a couple of studio monitor speakers right next to them like that and no green spots ever.

Mmm, that will make Doom 3 a lot more fun too. Mmmmm...

Some serious cash in that setup. Between the Mac, flat panels, synth, control surface, monitors, software...you're looking @ $10,000 easy

I may have to pretend to be Oprahs long lost brother or offer other services

to her... so i can get my baby. Better yet persuade all my family and friends to write to her explaining how I'm such a geek and I just cannot live without that workstation. It maybe a little tricky. ;D Knowing her though she'll change it around and try to put me into counselling for computer addiction.
