Just heard the father in the pic interviewed on the Glen Beck Radio Show.

He showed up to the airport w/ his daughter and his son (small blonde kid to his left). He claims everyone was very, very nice until he broke out 2 pro-Bush signs. His son held one and his daughter the other. Then the guy in the green cap tried snatching the sign from her hand, ripping it and throwing it to the ground. Soon after the crowd surrounded them and began calling him irresponsible and terrible father for bringing his children to the airport to show support for Bush. The crowd continued name calling and intimidating him until he left. The little girl cried and asked her dad "why did they start out being so nice, then turn so mean?"



He said there were also cars in the parking lot smashed w/ hammers and keyed (those were the cars w/ Bush-Cheney stickers)....NICE!

This is the reason I don't show any allegiane to political parties, sports teams or my college on my vehicle. Idiots like that take cheap shots at others. I don't like either candidate but if I did like one, I surely wouldn't trash the car of someone supporting the other candidate. That's just plain ignorant and stupid. :-\

Show me the pictures of democratic children at Bush rallies being pushed on purpose and made to cry by fuckin high-school drop outs that are pissed because they can't get a decent wage because they smoked too much in high school and couldn't pass an 8th grade math test. These were kids - not adults.

I don't agree with how they acted towards the kids, but I also don't agree with the fact that this man took his children to this....CHILDREN don't belong at these kind of events.

I don't really agree with that, there's nothing wrong with getting your family actively involved in the support of our govt and politcs - the story of his family is based on patriotism - 3 of his sons are in the national guard and he was just taking a proactive role in supporting his country and teaching his children at a young age to be proud of their older siblings and government. I think he thought that this would be just a small rally (not a convention) and had no idea people who are supposedly so against violence would turn on his children this way. To say that they shouldn't be there speaks right to the heart of discrimination, something I thought the dems don't do - or according to them. Regardless of republican or democrat we are Americans and for these low lifes to treat American children (the future of our country) they way they did - there is no excuse. Had he known they would do this - I am sure he would have not taken his children and going forward probably won't be that trusting of the American public to treat, at the very least, our children with the respect they deserve.

Everytime I look at that little girl's face and that asshole standing next to her all proud it just burns me - even if I were a Kerry supporter I would have done something to stop this fuckhead - short of picking him up and dropping him on his ignorant head - but I guess thats just my violent republican side coming out....and I am not even republican (bipartisan)
