So let me understand this....you're not allowed to take pictures of voters in a public place, yet it is within the rights of paparazzi to take pictures of celebrities whenever they feel like it because they're in a public place? http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/sto...tm&sc=1110

| Technically, the public pays everybody's bills. I mean, unless you're a government employee that is. I'm not a celebrity either, but seems like there's a double standard in this as there is alot of things.

[/quote] I don't see the double standard. If my source of income is largely due to my general popularity than I have greatly restricted my private life willingly (especially with the ridiculous salaries some half ass celebs make.... without the public eye, kiss goodbye to your wealth and not to mention that their fragile ego is completely shattered)... trust me dude, if you don't acknowledge (recognize) celebs. it hurts their ego... they don't want to be left alone as they say, they hunger for recognition. I don't care how famous they are.... you can't have your cake and eat it, you want fame ? .... it comes with a price !!!! now, I don't want fame (maybe fortune 8)) so there's no reason to have anybody invading my privacy taking pictures of me voting... not that I would mind but there are people that would .....

| So Princess Diana knew the risks? : I mean, take her kids for example...they didn't ask to be born into royalty. Not all celebrities ask to have cameras in their face 24/7. I don't think most realize the extent to which their privacy is invaded until they get there. Most celebs are camera whores, but not all....I think politicians are the only ones who deserve the scrutiny. Celebs don't have to answer to me for their misdeeds....but again, if its perfectly legal to photograph people in public, why not outside polling places? What's the difference?
