You know, I'm not gonna lose hope just yet. My hopes now lie in either something miraculous happening in the next few hours, or in the next year or so when the people of the nation finally come to their senses and realize that we've elected a virtual primate into office, and are continuing down the path of an even further screwed up government.

My thread theorizing about a third American Revolution kind of proves the point. The citizenry of the United States is by and far turned into a bunch of lazy automatons. Now if Bush was in fact doing a decent job, aside from a few issues, I would understand re-electing him...i.e. stay with something decent rather than risk on an unproven challenger.

But Bush has led this country down the shitter for 4 years.

- Thousands of people killed for no real good reason. You know me, I was for the liberation of Iraq, I just believe it was badly executed.

- Economy is still in the shitter. Even Bush I had it bouncing back after 4 years.

- Moral Nazis are on the offensive. Banning same-sex marriages? Who the hell appointed the government the moral guardians of us all? (more on this later)

- The deficit. 'Nuff said.

Shocking that a lot of people in this specific community have voted for Bush. You engage in activities on a daily/weekly basis that the Republican Party finds distasteful. You do drugs, sleep around, and so forth. I find nothing wrong with those activities, but yet the very party you claim allegiance to finds those activities wrong and possibly worthy of jailtime.
