So what does everyone make of the exit polls now? My point has been proven. Polls are mechanisms used by Democrats to shape opinions, rather then report them. Looks like Bush is going to run away with the election, barring something drastic. Not saying it won't happen, but it looks doubtful.

In an election this close, exit polls are by in large a waste of time. Can you really get a fair sample? The answer is no.

The bigger issue is how the hell did pollsters have Florida so wrong? Unreal margin for President Bush.

Not an unreal margin. Unreal pollsters and media trying to shape the election rather then report it as it unfolds. The GOP has become wise to these tactics, however. The theory is that the undecided voters will cast their votes based on the guy winning, thus joining the bandwagon. If the media and pollsters can make the undecideds think that Kerry is winning, the theory is that it will change the course of the results since elections boil down to undecided voters.
