Found this info on another web site: "A Dallas newspaper has reported that Carol Shelby purchased a plant in Carrolton which is in the middle of Dallas. Reportedly he will be producing cars for Ford there. It has also been reported through other sources that a Mustang GT500 will be produced with a V10."

| MegaJunkie | the v10 makes no sense. none at all! just like the death of the 351 block due to the weight of it, it makes little sense to add so much weight to a car when you can make the same hp and torque numbers on a light weight block. This is why the vette who looses 85 ponies to the viper will beat the viper on the track. |

| Maybe I’m off – but isn’t the V-10 aluminum and thus the same weight as the V-8?
