It's crazy that with all the anti-Bush stuff that was out there that he still managed to win the most popular votes of any previous US President.

Good for Kerry for not dragging this thing on too long.

The way I see it is that it was very close. Bush didn't win by a landslide by any means. There's still a significant minority of pissed-off Americans.

That is very true. At this point, roughly 48% of America lost. Of that, there are a large number who are moderates that considered both sides and went with Kerry. These folks will quickly get over the loss. However, the further left you go, the more partisan and pissed off people will be.

It was critical that Kerry conceded today. That move was all class. Dragging it out would have been terrible for the country.

I'm glad this isn't drawn out, either. There really isn't anything to draw out this time around.

I believe that will be a huge sign to the world that although Demz and Repz have differences.......we are all Americans and at the end can put our differences aside and move forward.

But who exactly is the left pissed off at? They should be pissed off at the fact they couldn't come away with this election considering all the opportunities they had to win. Not only that, they lost Senate and House seats, and a governership or two. Are liberals pissed because they're finally figuring out that the majority of the country leans conservative?
