But today are those same people safer from the terror attacks of the insurgence? Today the group 'Doctors Wiothout Borders' pulled out of Iraq stating that the situation there has become to dangerous and their medical staff has been overwhelmed by all of the carnage. This year Doctors without Borders has treated more than 100,000 Iraqi citizens who have been injured due to the violence in Iraq.....100,000 people injured! So how many Iraqis have have died then as a result of this conflict? Are the people really better off this way? Better off with Bush's master plan to free the middle East? Lets go republicans on this board..Tell me how this rampant state of fear and violence is doing the United States any good.......

| MegaJunkie | you fail to see the big picture. it was saddam's life long quest to develop nukes, whether he admitted it or not. (his recovered diary stated that he was determined to control anything he could). all those middle east countries are trying to do it as fast as they can. they know if you possess nukes you can fuck with whomever you want and cant be fucked with. if the palestinians could they would turn israel into swiss cheese. muslim extremists hate us, muslims are bound to muslims. it was actually better to take him out now then a decade later when it might be impossible or too late. guess where the first WTC bombers fled to? iraq. not saying i would have done the same thing, but it needs be seen through now.

| HipJunkie | well how would you feel if some people came into your country and just declared that your nation would now belong to another group of people, which also happened to be a group of people that you had bad blood with for over 2,000 years. we cannot possibly think we can end a conflict that has spanned for thousands of years. it's arrogant of us to think so. what we are doing is swatting at a hornet's nest.
