"Two out of 10 pupils did not believe condoms prevented pregnancy or other sexually transmitted diseases.

One in 10 said they believed sex with a virgin could cure HIV/Aids, and one in 10 had been raped in the past year. One out of every 10 thought that girls who got raped, asked for it, according to the study."

I find these stats pretty shocking. Obviuosly some of these misconceptions should be addressed. Education is key.

This is something that has been happening for decades already nothing shocking about this.Yeah those African really shoot themselves on the foot.

Yet, we're supposed to donate money to them? I believe in helping those that help themselves. I, for one, did not give a hoot about Live 8 or whatever it was called. There's plenty of other poor countries that don't have as corrupt a moral fabric as Africa and deserve a fighting chance.
