This is a Hollywood flick? You're kidding. I mean Rob Zombie and Hollywood? Truly, the revolution is over.

Don't pay to see this movie.

Some parts were very poorly acted, predictable is right, not scary but very bloody, only thing good about it is the soundtrack. (classic rock, and some excellent songs, used in interesting ways)

At times it was funny, but I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not. It's sick and twisted, but there's no point to it all.....

T is correct. I expected to be shocked and horrified way more than I was. It was really lame. I am very disappointed in Rob. I expected so much more vileness to come from him.

I actually enjoyed this film...

I read the reviews of it on Friday before I saw it....and if you were expecting some kind of Oscar caliber performances, or a deeply involving plot, then yes you would be disappointed.

I was looking for a take-off of a schlock 70's slasher film...and that is exactly what I got...there were times where I laughed out loud in the theater and I expected it to have more gore in it...the end was a little cheezy....but I did walk out of the theater with a smile on my face...

This film is not for everyone, if you can see past the transparent plot and the borderline acting then it entertains quite well...LOL....I wouldn't go see it again in the theater, but will most likely buy it when it comes out on DVD and put it next to my 'House of 1000 Corpses', Evil Dead Series(I, II, and Army of Darkness), Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the other various schlock horror films that I own...
