Yep you heard it. I saw on ABC news that a gas station in Georgia (BP to be exact) was charging $6.09 for a gallon of gas!!!

My girl is in Atlanta and a few hours ago was starting her trip down here... she reported it was above $5 in Atlanta... insane.

i have 2 friends there. they arent running out of gas, people panick and make a run on the gas, so it only looks like they are running out. in turn, some stations in atlanta are goughing.

.. something that i think would change things would be

Ban SUV's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

unless your into construction / landscaping etc ....they serve no real practical purpose whatsoever !

or approve another refinery and roll back prices to 1965. they havent built a new one in over 20 years. and in the meantime, get to work on those hydrogen cars.

...im more and more thinking this whole Refinary situation was/is a Tactic by the oil company for pure profit ...despicable !!!!!!!!!

...Currently Oil companies are making 500$ million A DAY IN PROFITS ! :-X

In that case, they need to give that guy that works the midnight shift at the local Hess station a raise.
