CNN reported this morning that if Rita hits the Texas coast at the stregnth it is now, it will damage some major oil refineries along the gulf coast of Texas and in the Gulf Of Mexico. Some of these refineries are still under repair from hurricane Katrina. If this happens we can expect the national average for a gallon of gas to be around $5.00 a gallon at the beginning of next week.
