| CoolJunkie | Registered members do not see ads. Register or logon for a better view. Can anybody help me out here? I need to convert 3 vinyl LPs to digital to be put on CDs. Anybody have that capability? I'd sure appreciate it. Hit me up with a PM or at james AT ************* DOT com. Thanks!

| HipJunkie | u gonna need a female rca to 1/8 inch stereo adaptor for most standard soundcards with a 1/8 line in. I would recommend using something like an Audiophile though. they have the rca inputs right on it, and will give you better quality (most likely). Not sure what sound card you currently have though. hope this helps. this post will be moved soon, so lookout!!!

To get a good quality digital conversion from a turntable you need a good pre-amp which you'll only find on studio-phile equipment. I'm set up for it, and in fact, I'm burning some stuff right now... ![]() [/quote] hey... nothing beats someone doing it for you. quality really depends on the quality of the mixer going into the soundcard, as well as the soundcard itself. i ripped a couple at Miami Beach Recording studios, and ripped some off my maudio audiophile at home. you cant tell the difference. it just has to be setup properly.

| I run it through the DJM-100, then through the A.R.T. tube compressor, and then into the Tascam CD-RW700. It's not a million dollar setup, but it works well. ![]()
