Whats up everyone?

As music lovers we are always looking for new music and something new to experience, so I want to invite you over to our message board at www.surfacemiami.com to check out the sets from some of South East’s best artists.

With everything from D&B, to House & Progressive to Trance and more we are looking for your pick of the month because on 01/07/2005, Surface will be debuting our first show with the DJ Mix of the month event in Miami.

During the week of 12/12 – 12/19, Surface will be polling all of the regional message boards on our site to see what mix is voted the best for Nov/Dec.

The winner will play a fully promoted event at Nocturnal on 01/07 and get 10 free music downloads at www.beatport.com.

So get your friends involved, submit your mixes and join us at www.surfacemiami.com (click on the forum tab & then the Local Talent & Demo Submission board) we want to hear your best sets and showcase you on this upcoming event!

This is a good chance to showcase some new local talent and we look forward to suporting you as this debut kicks off our upcoming series of DJ mixes of the month events!

Nothing shady at all...

To answer your questions...

1) who votes? - You do during the week of 12/12 - 12/19 on www.surfacemiami.com

2) can u submit a vote each month? - Yes, in fact thats what we want you to do. This is going to be a great resource for those of you who want to have your music hear.

3) can u win more than once? - If thats how the winning goes then yes. You will be able to monitor the poll results.

The one rule is that in order to vote everyone needs to have at least one posting somewhere on the site so we minimize those registrations where people are making false accounts.

Other than that, thats it...

This worked out well in Atlanta and we want to utilize this to help build a community. Thats how the surface cards were developed..

Check out the site, there are some good mixes up already..

BTW - if anyone needs anywhere to host their set. I can take care of that for you if you send me a CD.
