Arrving at 9 pm. Sebastian is already throwin it down... awesome set from Mr. Canadian Bacon. From sweet vocals from Collette and more, def my cup of tea. though he played some jackin house he played a lot deeper then normal.. great stuff.

Rocked it as usual. he uped the tempo a bit droppin it a bit harder. the only thing i recall is the last track we all went nuts to.

Arrived around 1 am. And what can i say CRAZIER THEN OPENING NITE.!! the door was not as bad as opening nite but it was crazy nonetheless. Along with Kelly and Phil we attemped to get in but it was just too nuts. So we went outside to the pool area and it was slammed

a huge group surrounded Alonzo Mourning and I think Dwayne Wade (not sure)... DAmn zo is thinner than I thought. but jeez hes a lot taller than i thought he would be.. dyammmmmmm guy is a giant

Didnt get to see Shaq though he was there. he apparently went home to change then come back


JAZZY JEFF SET

Waiting at the door u can tell its so packed u couldnt even move. A MC was getting the crowd to go nuts as the crowd sang along to a ton of old skool hip hop In line I heard Jackon 5 stuff dropped "abc.....123..." and even "ICE ICE BABY" BY VANILLA ICE ..SICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK


TONITE PROVES THAT HIP HOP IS THE ULTIMATE MONEY MAKER AND DOMINANT FORM OF MUSIC IN MIAMI!! (THOUGH not my fav by any means)

I was a bit disappointed that Jeff didnt play house. as he was supposed to . but i guess when he saw the crowd reaction to hip hop which was supposed to be only the beginning of his set, he stuck to it all nite (DEF THE MARK OF A GREAT DJ. READING THE CROWD)

THE PLACE HAD SO MANY HOT WOMEN IT WAS RIDICULOUS ( typical HIP HOP CROWD... )

the women outnumbered the men... everyone bootydancing... going apeshit... singing ...



MC shouting "PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR. WAVE EM LIKE U JUST DONT CARE" -old skool... i had to laugh lol.. then of course "leanback leanback.... u aint nothing but a broke #$##"

MY FAV PART OF SET. WHEN THE MC TOLD JEFF TO STOP THE MUSIC.... AND DEDICATE A TRACK TO A FRIEND AND HIS GF OF THEIR'S IN THE BOOTH .. IT WAS A SICK TRACK

RAY CHARLES TRACK and he threw down some sick hip hop stuff over it..... ok i danced my ass off to that..

can someone id that ray charles track. (it was one of the ones that was in the movie "Ray" as well) -LOVED IT

JAZZY JEFF technically was so so. His mixing was not really the best.. lol but he def had the crowd in his hands all nite though. He was basically playing one track for like 2 min then played something else. not really mix out of it like the dj's we are used to hearing. but then again its hip hop and the few hip hop clubs ive been to thats the way it normally is.


he was scratchin up a storm. I was lucky enuff to stand behind him in the booth (thanks Jon and Swank). and he was just evil with the scratchin..

he was using whatever is Final Scratch's competitor .. ?? ???


so for hip hop id say Jazzy Jeff is prolly the best ive ever heard!!

THE PARTY WAS A 10... THE VIBE WAS INSANE. the floor was a mess though im sure that will be fun to clean up :P


of course i didnt bring my earplugs cuz shine has a great system but Jeff was just cranking it up to such an obscene level. Yeah shine's system has a punch. My ears are still hurting ughhhhhh

They had dancers surrounding the MC. I mean like really fine dancers. 7 at one time then 3 of them all nite long with various costume changes. THESE DIDNT LOOK LIKE Ordinary dancers at least to me... very fineeeeeeee

course i cant track id a damn as it was packed too all hell and i suck with hip hop. (all i know is my sister would have been goin nuts last nite... she eats this stuff up)


Party wise def the best party at SHIne. after seeing this turnout i would not be surprised to see Shine after a while go to hip hop either on a friday or Saturday nite instead of house both nites.. no question the hip hop crowd is huge and drops some serious $$$.



left around 3... it was def an experience to see Jazzy Jeff. Hopefully next time though i can hear how his house sets were. as far as hip hop sets i give it a thumbs up !

oh yeah traffic ayer sucked ass . 2 hrs to get to sobe and find parking. stupid hot import nites car show at the convention center and nutcracker ballet at jackie gleason. all the lots were full . we finally parked on the garage on collins and 10th close to chesterfield
