They have decided to do it on thier own, basically cut out the people that brought them all the business and the idea. I'll tell you this much, I won't be going in there, especially after our last experience right ladies?

| That sucks!!!! On 2 levels...(1) because that is sooo B.S. when a venue steals an event from the person who brings it to them, AND (2) that was a fun night for everyone in the industry....the person or people who put that together did a great job. Especially since Lucky Strike has gone down hill ever since - they haven't seen that many people in there since that first season. Well, I won't be going there again and I'll tell others to go elsewhere as well....greedy greedy greedy. >![]()

Do you know what happened? I heard that it was all set to go and everything, with even more teams.

| CoolJunkie | Won't matter. It'll tank. Don't burn your bridges and you can pick it back up again, if you want. What most venues do not understand is the skill set that a promotor and/or event producer brings to the table is significantly different than the skill set that a venue owner/manager usually has. They do not realize what it takes to produce a successful event and advertise it properly because their experience is in things like staff management, venue layout, bar stock tracking, and the like. This is why nearly every time a venue manager takes over the event production, it does horribly. One person can only contain so much knowledge, it is ridiculous to think you know it all.

[/quote] Yeah it was ready to go, The guys behind it (Emi & Hirsch) busted their tails for the past 3 months to ensure that this season would be massive, but in the end the Manager, decides that the deal that was in place wasn't good enough for him, and wanted more... They gave him more, and the manager doesn't understand what it takes to put something like this together and the costs, so when they gave him basically just about everything and asked for a weekly fee to run it; he decided that he would cut them out and do it on his own.
