Word on the street, they finally got beat in foreclosure court and unless they pay up completely in 45 days, they are done. Look for them to sell, and not to LP, the guy who sold them the building is reportedly trying to re buy it, though not as a club, as a club it has zero value at this point outside WMC and super bowl week. It's in Space's best interest that when or if it closes it stays closed, here is why, if Space gets noise complaints on sat nights, it only compounds the problem if Noc gets noise complaints on fridays, considering their patio faces them it only amplifies the problem. If the club is sold to another club operator might as well keep the seats in the foreclosure court warm. I'm not sure if Noc has any more delay moves, they've done a hell of a job delaying this. |

| Why do business people run clubs to the point where they are broke and in stages of being foreclosed? Also I always hear on here how Friday night after hours is always busy. Does busy mean 30 people 1000, or a few hundred?.

| Tons of customers doesn't necessarily equate to a successful business. If your cash flow sucks, if your costs exceed your revenues, etc...it really doesn't matter how many customers you have.

I dont know shit about running a club... can somepne please explain how these clubs charge so much for drinks, etc... but losing their asses overall? |

| CoolJunkie | rent(or mortgage in this case I think), insurance, payroll (Security, managersssss, sound/light techs, dj's, promoter's cut, bar, wait, etc) loan payments, advertising, police detail, maintenance... And there's a million other things... Just do some math... you'll be shocked how fast it adds up. Most businesses "cover their nut" all month long even with awesome business and any profit, if any, comes from just a couple of days of business. So one bad night can fuck you for the month.
