I'm in Melbourne right now. This morning it's overcast here and there are squalls coming in from the East. When I looked at the weather down there in Miami Beach I was surprised to see a strong West wind instead.

Uh oh. spinning weather system, plowing over South Florida. Yay. It's definitely summer now.

For Mac peeps, NOAA has a Dashboard widget. Or Radar In Motion with a simpler UI and Weather Channel maps also.

I've been using Weather Underground to dodge isolated showers and unfortunately there's no Weather Underground widget. Best radar maps around that I know of.

I just had a ridiculous thunder/lightening storm for the past couple of hours. It was just non-stop, shaking the house kind of thunder too!

It is starting to calm down now....

Now it's sunny up here in Melbourne and all of you further South are getting dumped on. It was so crappy here this morning and sunny there in Miami, but the squalls that hit me this morning rotated down over you. Enjoy!

we got hit hard overhere in Miramar..it was windy as fuck and thundering, the lights even went off here at work for like 2 minutes but everything is back to normal now.

This is Level for Cooljunkie action news...now back to you Tech and Pod..lol
