Going To Ibiza - Need Tips, Advice From Ibiza Gurus!

I am planning a trip to Ibiza next summer (July or August) and want to start booking things now. I have searched numerous websites, blogs etc. Any of you that have been there before, any tips, advice, best hotels, beaches etc to stay would be greatly appreciated. I plan on visiting all the major clubs and was thinking of staying at the Pacha hotel, but there are too many to pick from. Thanks in advance for any replies!!!

There are so many fun things to do in Ibiza. I think that the best place to stay would be San Antonio since it is on the North Side of the Island and isn't as crazy as Ibiza town next to the port. It's a small island so getting around isn't that hard. It is also near café del mar which is a great place to watch the sun set and have a drink or two (you don't actually have to be drinking at the actual café to hear the music, you can just buy some liquor and drink on the rocky beach in front of it). Pacha hotel is probably really cool (especially if you are planning on clubbing at Pacha) but it's very expensive. There are some fairly decent places you can stay in San Antonio that are very, very cheap. Your hotel room is pretty much inconsequential since you probably won't be sleeping very much. If you are really in to really heavy, popular electro house, Pacha is a cool place to go, but if you are looking for something else, there are many other good places to go. I would recommend checking out club Space on Sunday morning and afternoon for the "we love space" party. It's a really cool party. What's cool about Ibiza is that it doesn't function on the same schedule that we do, so there are weekday parties that are just as good as the weekend parties. It all depends on when you are booking your flight.

Thanks so much for the great tips, I have actually narrowed it down and I found a hotel I really like, Hotel Es Vive, as I would like to be near the beach and close to Bora Bora.

Cafe Del Mar is definitely on my list. Trip advisor told me that the best time to go for the parties is early to Mid August. I heard that most clubs, except Space do not allow cameras, is that true...?

The Sunday Space party, is it similar to the one here in Miami, I will actually be going there tonight

One last question, I was checking flight to book in advance, thinking I would get some great deals since it is 11 months away, and the prices are very high... any suggetions?

Hi, Es Vive is a great hotel, very nice...it's got the party vibe all day long...It's on the $$$ side...if you just want a place to recover...The JET Apartments are next to Bora Bora and 1 block from Space...short cab ride to DC10...about 5 minutes to Ibiza Town, Pacha and El Divino...

August is peak season...lots happening...lots of people...very HOT!

We Love Space party is in its own level...two different animals...miami and ibiza.

You will be OK if you book within the first 3 months of next year.
