M-NUS Night with JPLS. Presented by PL0T

Just wanted to inform you all of our next event.

This time making his Miami debut outside WMC, we present: JPLS (live)_[m-nus].



After the success of the recent M-nus night with Magda and Troy Pierce, we decided it was time -and appropriate-, to introduce the growing Miami techno fans, to one of the other successful M-nus artists: JPLS !!

True and pure minimal techno could be ways of describing his sound. Dark, cerebral, dubby, experimental, are also words that come to mind, but to limit ourselves to these few words would undermine the science behind his craft; a function of complex percussions and minimal grooves that make any dance floor crave for more...

Jeremy Jacobs (JPLS) first released his brand of very stripped down minimal techno on net labels such as Clever and Redevice. He made his first M_nus appearance on 2006’s ‘min2MAX’ compilation, following it up with the 12” ‘Program’, which had the distinction of perhaps being the most minimal thing ever released on the label. In 2007 he released his debut longplayer ‘Twilite’ also on M_nus. In 2008 he released the "Combination EP" following by the 2009 release of the "Creeps EP".

He's also had successful remixes in labels such as: Drumcode, Cocoon, Esperanza, and Lick My Deck.

JPLS also performs as a live act. He played at the ‘min2MAX’ showcase at the DEMF in Detriot in 2006 and the M_nus New Year’s Eve showcase in Rome, Italy that same year, where he performed live in front of 10,000 people.
