Thursday nite sobe review

So last night my older brother gets in town from Haiti for a couple days and we decide to head out. Head down to the beach and surprised to see so much people walking around and in front of the clubs last night. Seems like the season is getting a little busy. Anyways I know biz has his 80's night at state on thursday nights now, had heard something about the raleigh, and of course pam was to be at prive.

First stop was to be state for a bit to check it out, but after almost 15 minutes of looking for a decent parking we gave up on it as absolutely no place to park close to the club as all were taken. Did notice quite a large crowd in front of the clubs there but couldn't tell which people were for rumis and state, but I hope most were going to state cause from what I hear its a fun night there. Anyways sorry could not make it there, will check it out next thursday night.

Pass by shore club and of course tons of people and amazing looking women dressed as if it was a heat wave and not a cold front that was passing through miami, but shortly after we realize the time and we decide to just head to prive.

Prive had tons of people in front of the club as usual and as soon as I get there notice pamela anderson heading out and I really never thought she would look as good in person as she does on the mags. Small woman, amazing body, and great face and did not act 2 stuck up at all as she even gave some people autographs as she was leaving and waved hi to some people looking at her get in her car. Thought I would have to wait a while to get in the club being that its just me and my brother and tons of people in front of prive, but once again Dave hooks it up and gets us inside the club in no time.

First off, my previous times at prive on a thursday night had made me pretty sure I would stick to prive only on fridays but damn was I wrong, last night was a good time there. Great looking women all over the club as the female to male ratio is really unlike most clubs here as tons of women and few guys. Stars all over the place including Tara Reid, Nicole Richie, tommy davidson from "booty call", Pamela Anderson, and I know there were a couple more but can't exactly remember the rest. All those women stars looked as good drunk as they usually look in their movies. Music was not house, which is what I usually listen to, but a couple of drinks and the music sounded great. Classic 80's songs, rock classics, and a few more recent pop songs and I gotta say the music was great last night and the crowd was all having fun there. Overall a great night at prive with a well dressed crowd where everybody was just having some fun with the oldies music and the celebs all over the place.

Overall gotta say sobe is not as dead as I thought it was at all around this time of the year as things are already picking up for the upcoming spring break. Beautiful women walking all over sobe and tons of people heading to tons of different clubs. Thanks again to dave for hooking it up and biz I'll be checking out state next thursday, hope the night went well.

Know which one you talking about right at the end of the lincoln road before it gets to wash ave., i guess on weeknights you can't park there cause they had that red stuff on all the meters.

Did you happen to see the fireworks last night? I live at the top of a high-rise on the West side and you can always tell when the season is picking up because there will be one or two totally random fireworks shows every week. Last night there was a really amazing low-altitude display just North of the Lowes. I couldn't tell exactly whether it was for the Delano or what but it was somewhere around there.

It was absolutely amazing. I see a LOT of fireworks displays so I guess I'm kind of hard to impress at this point, but this one was really amazing. It was at about 10:20 I think. They were throwing whole curtains of explosives in the air, all kinds of sparkly effects, way more colors than in a normal display and all of the colors were all coordinated. They would set off a huge low-altitude curtain of blue that would shimmer yellow afterward and then a high-altitude burst, then back to the low stuff. Just brilliant.

If anybody knows what that might have been for then I'm kind of curious.

Yeah the fireworks were because Ocean Drive magazine is 11 years old....and they had a big star bash @ the Ritz Carlton on the beach.Actually South beach on the Beach.
