coming in for a visit for the upcoming 2 weeks and want to make the most of it. please list your nightly picks of bars/lounges/clubs/special events for the upcoming week along with the type of music played.

What kind of stuff are you looking for? MIA's got it all. Are you looking for the hip, hot (not hip-hop) club events? The places where all the pretty people go to be seen? The places that play good electronic music? (Sometimes those even overlap.) We have everything from tiny lounges to mega-clubs.

If you haven't already checked out the Cooljunkie club pages, you can go here http://www.cooljunkie.com/clubs_full.html and it has all sorts of info. Click on the links down the right column for descriptions of those clubs, they are all good. Click on the "Hidden Gems" article down a little lower for some great info. And you can also click on the days of the week across the top for specific events on those days.

There is a lot of stuff going on these days, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding something fun.
