Space Reviews...Let's hear 'em

Well.....I knew it would too be packed to go early, so I decided to go at 4 for afterhours and stayed there till about 10:30. All in all, an awesome night. MS threw down a great set in the main room and Morillo's set in the patio was bangin'. How did it go for you guys? I'm off to sleep now.

Morillo played till noon. Fantastic set. DT is gonna have to work it to follow up on Erick's stylings.

Erick is a true technician behind the decks. A lot of people kinda had this look of "I've heard this, but it must be a new remix" kind of look when he dropped certain tracks. Erick in fact is taking a beat, and doing a whole boatload of stuff to it, from filtering with some Stanton filters he brought along with him, to laying down the acapellas, and so much more. He has a whole load of stuff cut to vinyl just for him (FYI it's all cut at Trutone Records in Hackensack, NJ...) It was blast to watch him work. I would grab a few images, and just stand and watch the man do his thing. Big ups to both his sets, they both rocked it hardcore...

Like I said before, DT has a hard act to follow in my opinion. True, Erick did get on the mic, but just once to say a few words about him being at Space 34, and to enjoy the night...then it was just the music. Danny gets on way too much for my taste...

i hated the EM review posted - i wanted to read MORE about music, tracks played and general vibe, not on personal views or insults ....EM played a long set and all i gathered was all this unconfirmed gossip /rubbish ....?

what are u talking about? now saleen is not on my favorite people list. but the man was right on. he described the venue, the music, and the event. what more do you want a track by track list? were u there?did you like it? if you werent there then you should have been. and if you were there, then enjoy it and dont worry what people think.... ;D have a nice day!!
