12:00 p.m. to close: Mikey Gallagher (Ministry of Sound Radio, UK)

A little bit about Mikey:

A DJ for over 12 years, Mikey has played at many clubs around the world, including Ministry Of Sound, The Cross, Miss Moneypenny’s, Home, Sugarcandy, Club Sugar, BCK and was a resident DJ on the Ministry of Sound’s Worldwide Syndicated Radio program ‘The Ministry Dance Party’ for 4 Years. He is now a co-host of the MoS Express Radio show on Ministry of Sound Radio, which is broadcast live every Friday 4-6 GMT on www.ministryofsound.com.

2003 has already proved to be a busy year for Mikey with performances at Club Sugar in Santa Monica, USA, Maximym in Ukraine, as well as several trips to BCK and Niva in Sweden. Mikey is also a resident at MoS Express Club Night at Thirst in London.

Future performances in 2003 are scheduled for LoveZoo, UK, Sun City, Ukraine, Ibiza, France and the USA.

Mikey also produces under various names, as well as his own, including Blue Harvest, A Man Possessed, Munchman and Flashback.

His biggest club tracks to date include a collaboration with Robbie Rivera called ‘Club Wash’ (Wakko), Ad sampling ‘Black and White’ (Slinky), USA Club Anthem ‘Plan B’ (Jellybean) and the 2002 Re-fix of Mory Kante ‘Yeke Yeke’. Mikey also co-produced and co-wrote UK Top 40 Single Felon ‘Get Out’ which hit the UK charts in 2002.

His discography includes tracks on labels: Global Harmony, Play, Solar, Ransom, Cloud City, Delirious, Slinky, Serious and US labels: Wakko and Jellybean.

His latest track under Blue Harvest is a new version of the Isley Brothers classic ‘Summer Breeze’.
