Miami is not an international nightspot !

I'm live in Europe and I use to visit clubs in spain. I was in Miami for the july 4th event and I was very disapointed.... I wanted to go in Space but the ticket price for the entrance was incredible (40 usd) ! All the clubs were too expansive that I prefered to go back in my room...

The next day I went to Maze and I also was disapointed because that's not what I call a big club ! What I call a big club is for ex. the CHASIS (barcelona, 12 000 people capacity) or Big Ben (Tarragona, 14 0000 people capacity) or even Millenium (Girona, 6 000 people capacity). For more there was almost nobody at Maze.

When I looked at the events in such clubs as Level and Crobar I really thought Miami sucks !!!!

maze may be small but the sound system is my fav of any club and the lighting system rocks

Ummm...if you used the site you're posting on you could have saved a lot of money. Space would have set you back $25 max, and the other clubs even less, or free. If you had posted what your plans were here, someone would have gladly hooked you up in some fashion, too.

As for big clubs, does it really matter? 3,000 people is plenty enough for me. I don't need to party with 12,000 people...I'll probably find 6,000 of them offensive anyway. As a matter of fact, many of your countrymen would prefer a smaller venue, since they get tired of the huge places over there anyway. Isn't that what vacation is about? Experiencing new things? Why would you want to do the same thing you do at home anyway? You could have saved a lot of money and stayed home.

It's all relative, too. Maze, Space 34, crobar, and Level are big clubs, to the people in Miami...

I actually have to agree with his impression on the size thing. People in Miami seem to be amazed at how 'huge' Space is. It's a tiny little room! It never would have occurred to me in a million years to call that place "Space". It's a really fun place, great sound, great lights, great layout, all of that, and I don't think that it's too small or anything, but the name creates an expectation and it doesn't deliver.

Poor navigating can really give a guy the wrong impression, that seems to be what has happened here. When I first showed up in this town I went out every once in a while just randomly exploring, and if you show up at a place like Level or Maze on an off night then yeah, of course it's going to suck. Clubs in Europe suck on off nights too, the trick is not going on off nights. Use resources like CoolJunkie to go where the good parties are and your night will never suck.

Ain't that the truth. I've never been to the UK, but from what people have told me, the place where Digweed has his Bedrock nights is a total waste of time on an off night.
