It has been almost seven years since the first Distant Music release hit retail stores around the world. The days of running the label from his Brooklyn apartment have come and gone. He has established the Distant name into a quality label and distribution company.With the success of the label and recent productions and remixes Jon’s unique style of Djing has also been in demand around the world. “I was big on Hip Hop when I first started spinning so I in cooperate a lot of the technique into my house sets. No Scratching” Although the Gigs and productions have all started to come together Jon’s first concern has and always will be to maintain the label. He is presently in the studio putting the final touches on future Distant releases for 2005/2006. Jon plans to move further into the CD market for the new year releasing Distant compilations and mixed Cd’s.

He's on a double CD with Osunlade titled "AFTER DARK NYC" on kinkysweet recordings. And let me tell you, from beginning to end, it's murder......... I think i'm gonna have to take off for this one.
