Cox "I’ve gone over to CDs, now. I’m using three Pioneer CDJ-1000s, or the Pioneer DVJ-X1, it doesn’t matter which. I find myself more challenged now using CD players, actually. For many years, I was using only turntables, for like 30 years of my life! There’s a lot more you can do with CD players, and using them challenges me to do better as a DJ and to push elements of DJing more than I could ever do with turntables. What people get to hear is something unique, and it shouldn’t matter whether I play it on vinyl or CDs. In fact, I’m not using any vinyl anymore; that chapter is closed, for me". "That's some harsh wording"- said the kid......

| Vinyl has a real sense of nostalgia to it, but the times they are a changin' I'll never part with my records though

| I went to 100% CD's five years ago and never looked back or regretted it. I used to catch shit from knuckle-head wanna be DJ's that would say I wasn't a "real DJ" because "anybody can spin CD's". It's nice to know that guys like Carl Cox have validated what many of us already knew....it doesn't matter what you play on, but how you play it. Every big name DJ (except Oakenfold I think) is using CD's now, and some (like Carl Cox and Sasha) no longer use vinyl.

| CoolJunkie | Nothing shocking here...I'm just a vinyl junkie, always have been, always will be. And I spin CDs too.
