Ha ha. It's a very commercial mix but damn it's gotten me 3 bookings so far. My booking agent called me today and told me "whatever you did...keep doing it!"

I like all tracks that I play...some more than others. In America most of the places I dj I have to play to the crowd. In Europe it's a different story. All that matters to me is if people are dancing. The overall reaction to this cd has been phenomenal. Not every cd I have done has been or will be like this one htough.

There has to be that one style that attracts you the most... I mean, as a producer yourself, do you do online surveys to see what people like the most or do you produce music based on your taste?

Production wise lately I'm doing music that will work on the dance floor. Now as my Maximus alias, it's all about strange noises and techno.

It really just depends on how I feel a certain day when I go into the studio...I never want to limit my feelings.

This mix was done for a purpose though it is not how I want to play every night.

Just nightrain and maximus. Maximus is who i was in 1995-'01...part of me is still into techno but not today's techno.
