Default Win A Copy!

Check this out! The legend that is Francois K has mixed the first ‘Masterpiece’ compilation for MoS. It’s a series that is due to combine the DJ talents of the true masters of the trade, with high-quality artwork, packaging and booklet.

FK kicks things off with a triple-disc digi-pack, with a disc each showcasing his styles he plays in Naples (peaktime electro), Manchester (techno) and Tokyo (downtempo, deep house & Afro drum trax).

Click below for your chance to win a copy and to check out the full tracklistings (THOSE SHOWN ABOVE ARE INCOMPLETE)!

So when they say "highest end" does that mean the music or the packaging of the cd?

And another question before I drop a lot of money on this...
Did he actually mix the tracks or did he just pro-tool them together?
I think these days the art of mixing has been long lost and big names should be confident enough in their mixing abilities to "mix the mix as a dj would."
Just my opinion...sounds like a great compilation though.

I think both! Have been listening to the CD in work this week, must say it's a belter (Manchester & Tokyo discs particularly doing it for me). And the packaging is good, you can see the nice bit of artwork above!

With regard to your other query, I believe FK uses Traktor most of the time anyway so I think this is pretty representative of his live sets (though he prob spent some time programming it, you gotta think about licensing when compiling mix CDs).
