DJ Shadow
saw him live at Creamfields, if you're into breaks, Shadow is the man According to a recent report in Billboard, Shadow's classic 1996 LP will be re-released via Island, and will include a disc-full of extra goodies-- live songs, single edits, demos, and remixes. Shadow kept his fingerprints all over this one, overseeing the whole procedure and contributing new pictures and liner notes (which will include excerpts from Eliot Wilder's upcoming book about the album.)
Other than revisiting his older material, Shadow has kept somewhat busy, while still working on an as-yet-untitled album that is, according to his official website, tentatively planned for the end of 2005. In February, the 10" for Keane's "We Might As Well Be Strangers" featured a Shadow remix, while he also produced "Over You", a track off of Lyrics Born's new LP, Same Shit, Different Day.
