Trance tracks boasting dramatic string breakdowns rarely land in the middle ground. They're either compelling chest-swelling beauties or mediocre button-pressing ?Adagio' copyists. ?Oceania' falls into the first group, the credit for which goes largely to the nonchalant nature with which its lead string are played. Add to that the restraint it shows in not going arpeggio histrionic post-break and you've got yourself a string-led smash (and one that's not trading on past glories).
