Work out an E&E plan with your friends and family (where you will meet if something goes down) and stock up on canned foods and water, flashlight, batteries, candles and a shitload dried foods. And buy yourself a small handheld portable, battery powered radio. Essential stuff.

Yeah I agree with you. The warnings are repetitive and that may water down the threats, but these guys are obviously not joking. It doesn't hurt to have an escape route, a meeting place, and some back up supplies. It's good for one to have a plan in place so that one may party until something goes down, if something goes down.

I find it interesting that Homeland Security didn't know about the summertime threat that the White House promoted all week. Looks like the Bush relection campaign just got called out by the Homeland Security Dept.
