Spice menu was excellent. We all had the carmelized onion tart to start, followed by the beef tenderloin. At first I was thinking that the portions might have been on the small side. But you know what? I left completely full and satisfied so I guess that's all that matters. I finished off with the warm chocolate cake, which it seems everyone is doing these days. Who started the molten chocolate cake trend anyway? My wife, bro, and his companion had the lemon tart which they said was delicious.

Service was attentive, but maybe that's because there was only one other table occupied? ??? There were a few tables full outside but inside it felt like we were the only ones there. I'll hope that service is just as good in the winter because I'm definitely going back.

Here's something new I've encountered for Spice. We were told that full table participation was required to order from the Spice menu. In the past, I've gone to dinner where not everyone at the table chooses to order from the Spice menu and it wasn't a problem. Has anyone else encountered this? the full menu here looked great and my wife really wanted to go with the full menu instead.

Wow, that's a first for me. I haven't done a Miami Spice lunch or dinner yet, but I'll be sure to report back on this when I do. 'Cause that will especially become an issue when I go to Pascal's on Ponce, for example, 'cause not all my friends eat red meat.

Thank you for the review, btw. Last time I checked the menus on the site, the Americana menu wasn't up yet. So I'll have to go check it out now and see if I like it.
