I'm not really picky, as long as ice is available. However, cubed is best for cocktails & crushed is ideal for sodas, IMO.

cubed of coarse. I go up 4 floors at my office just for a particular cut of ice to go along with my Coke.

i agree though crushed is best for soda or water and cubed for alcholic concoctions.

the best ice is the crushed they have at many golf courses/country clubs. its crushed but little balls or giblets if u will. (i was about to say those are yummy but i feel with ryan around he would own me with "you said little balls are yummy" lol, im no republican dammit

Spears get made by many ice makers in refridgerators.

I prefer cubes. The spears are annoying if they get sideways along the curve of the glass cause sometimes they dam up the soda/water and then you get it all over yourself! Ugh.
