No comment from the Podnut gallery, please, about bowling alleys with velvet ropes. But if you are looking for a nice place to go and relax where you will be treated well by pretty waitresses in short skirts with good food at decent prices, Lucky Strike is for you. I cannot highly recommend it enough as a nice place to go and have lunch or dinner. Nothing fancy. No Barton G or Emerils. More like in the Bennigans range, but WAY better. Everything we have gotten there has been excellent. The staff is always so happy to see a diner. The service is more like a real restaurant than a south beach snobbery. The eye-quality of the staff is very high. The prices are quite reasonable. The music is generally good. They have a plethora of large screen TVs, if that is your thing. The drinks are good and decently priced. So, if you are sitting around with your friends just plain hungry and looking for some place decent to go, go to Lucky Strike. And heck, you can always bowl a few afterwards to work off the calories.
