Label: Kinky Beat USA
Release Date: 29 June 2004
Genre: Techno, Trance
Website: www.christopherlawrence.com

Award winning jock and trance pioneer Christopher Lawrence defies the phrase ‘jack of all trades, master of none’. He is a multi-talented artist who is a jack and master of many trades.

All or Nothing is CL’s first venture into the realm of full artist album. Over the last 10 years, we have experienced many aspects of Christopher’s artistic persona, from DJ sets to mix compilations to original production work.

We now have the opportunity to venture into CL’s creative mind via his first full-length artist album. On 29 June 2004, he unleashes upon us All or Nothing, chock full of heavy, trance inducing beats.

All or Nothing contains eight original tracks and four previously released tracks.

‘Renegade’ and ‘Rush Hour’ were released in the U.K. on Hook Recordings. ‘Mind Eraser’ and ‘October’s Child’ were released in the U.S. on Moonshine Records.

Christopher enlisted Dave Aude and Ben Keen, both well-reputed EDM artists, to collaborate on several tracks. Vocalists Camille Kramer and Laura Derby lend their mesmerizing talents to ‘Freefall’ and ‘Halo’.

‘Freefall’, ‘Untitled Dub With Noises’, and ‘New Day’ are the stand out tracks of the album.

The tracklisting is as follows:
1. Saboteur
2. Freefall
3. Untitled Dub With Noises
4. October's Child
5. Mind Eraser
6. Halo
7. Hot Rod
8. Renegade
9. Nitro
10. New Day
11. Warp
12. Rush Hour

As we speak, Chris is touring the world to promote All or Nothing and share his blend of trailblazing energetic deep dark trance.

If you are lucky enough to have CL blaze through your town, do not hesitate to attend the show. His live sets are relentless. His dedication to the scene is remarkable. His bright personality is infectious.

Overall, the album is well produced and masterfully energetic. My sole criticism is that, since most of the tracks were recorded at approximately the same BPM, it would have been more fluid as a mixed CD.

On the HIGHFIVE scale, I give All or Nothing a 4.5/5.0.

Thanks Chris…we look forward to your sophomore follow-up.
